When starting any business, one of the first things you want to do is identify your strengths and weaknesses.

Example: If you are good at managing the day to day operation of your business, however you are not sure on how to market and advertise your product or service, and also not sure how to setup your accounting system, then I recommend:

- Actively seek out a company or person that will develop a proper marketing and advertising strategy for you. - Outsource your accounting needs to a Certified Public Accountant.

It may seem daunting at first; since you will want to save every dollar you can to put into your new business, however; if you don't do this, you will end up losing money fast, since you will waste money on wrong marketing strategies that you try to develop yourself, and also on trying to keep your accounts in order.

By doing this, you will not be able to focus on your strengths, which is the day to day operation of your business, and you will also end up losing control of that area as well. This is a recipe for failure.
