In Belize, unfortunately many people that we deem successful has become so, due to political cronyism not merit.

To know the difference listen to how they talk about other people who are climbing the ladder of success, if they have nothing but ridicule and discouragement spewing from their mouths, more than likely these people did not become successful on their own merit. On the other hand if they encourage and make constructive critique, then, more than likely these people have become successful on their own merit.
